The SPIRIT program also offers traditional and culturally-inspired activities that connect you with American Indian faculty and American Indian Student Support Services staff, who will serve as role models and professional mentors throughout your ASU experience.  

SPIRIT Program

SPIRIT begins two weeks before the fall semester. There is no cost to participate. In SPIRIT you will:

  • move into residence halls early
  • learn about college academic expectations
  • become familiar with campus and the resources available to you
  • get connected with staff and peer success leaders dedicated to your success
  • participate in traditional and culturally-inspired activities
  • make new friends
