The Student Success Center at the Tempe campus provides a broad array of programs and services to support students’ academic success. Tutors are available to work with students in small groups on a walk-in basis. Tutors can help students:
- review key concepts from courses
- learn new methods for notetaking and textbook reading
- formulate questions to take back to professors about course material
- develop new study strategies
For a successful tutoring session, students need to bring their books, notes, assignment, and a calculator if needed. Have specific questions ready about course content you may not understand fully.
