In celebration of this year's Native American Heritage Month (November, 2009) the ASU Music Library will display sound recordings and cover art from the Canyon Records Collection. The exhibit also features poster art and other artifacts.

The annual Native American Recognition Days (NARD), held each year during the months of October and November in the greater Phoenix area, is in celebration and honor of Native American cultures. Community volunteers from different agencies and groups come together to provide numerous events, showcasing our beautiful Native American culture.

Native American Heritage Night with the Phoenix Suns

The Phoenix Suns, a long time supporting sponsor of NABI and Native Country, are set to host Native American Heritage Day for second straight year, and this year it's even bigger!!!
This year there will be a pre-game show featuring: "Future NABI players" (ages 11-13), with a mini NABI game on the Suns court.
Also, traditional Native dance performances. Plus, all ticket purchasers receive "free", the exclusive "Phoenix Suns Native American Heritage Day Game" t-shirt. You can only get them at this game!!!
